ARCHITECTURE
Japanese design is infused all throughout the building design of MUWA NISEKO. “Tsumairi”, the classic gable shape entrance to the “Kirizuma” style building, or the “Engawa” porch, a space between the living area (tatami room) and the outdoor space, are examples of such traditional elements. MUWA NISEKO pays homage to traditional Japanese home construction by combining the core concepts of local architecture and using these as the very foundation for the building design.
The unique exterior of MUWA NISEKO, which resembles a stack of small houses, is designed after a mountain village in Hokkaido. Enjoy the luxurious retreat in a setting that is the perfect fusion of tradition and sophistication.
